Barbara Lighter Obituary

Barbara Jean Lighter, age 78, passed away on May 29, 2020. She is survived by her brother, Louis (Sandra) Lighter and two nieces, Debbie (David) Simmons and Sherri (David) Umbstead and one great niece, Kimberly Umbstead and three great nephews, Matthew (Jennifer) Simmons, Christopher (Glaiza) Simmons and Stephen Simmons. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Goldie (Garver) Lighter. Barbara retired from Miami University as custodial maintenance. She enjoyed visiting the Great Smokey Mountains and watching the bears. She also enjoyed living with Louis and Sandra in Florida. Barbara attended the Nazarene Church in Liberty, Indiana. Funeral services are to be private.
