Deanna Lee Douce

Deanna, 74, residing in North College Hill, passed away Saturday morning, July 24, 2021 at her home. Deanna was born on Sept. 14, 1946 in Marion, Ohio, to the late Lowell and Mary (Rohr) Douce. Deanna graduated from River Valley High School in 1964 and Midwest College in Texas in 1968. She was a school teacher in Wilmington, Ohio for 30 years and retired in 1999. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Greenhills and was very active in the church in multiple activities. She was also very active in Clovernook Garden Club and loved to judge arrangements at flower shows.  Most of all she loved to spend quality time with her nieces and nephews. Always buying them new things and taking them to shows. Deanna is survived by her brother, Dwight Douce, and sister-in-law, Barb Douce. She is also survived by her niece, Beth (Douce) Nadolski of Wisconsin, and her husband Mark, along with their children, Alex and Dylan. She is also survived by her nephew, Brian Douce and his wife Marcella, and their children, Coleman, Lanie and Brooke.

A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00AM, on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Faith Lutheran Church, 8265 Winton Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
