Ester Mae (Kriegel) Roth

Ester Mae Roth (nee Kriegel), a life-long member of First United Church of Christ, a member since 1940 of the Order of the Eastern Star, and long-time resident of College Hill, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021, age 100.   Born March 22, 1921, she was a devoted wife and mother, an H&R Block office manager, and an enrolled agent with the IRS.  Beloved by family and friends, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Catherine Kriegel, sister of the late Myrtle C. Kriegel, and wife of the late John G. Roth.  Ester leaves behind her children Ed (Mary Jane) Roth, Pam (Dan) McDonald and Ken (Sherry) Roth; grandmother of Melissa Roth, Allen (Erin) Roth, Eric Roth, Suzanne (Matthew) Fister (nee Roth), the late Kelly (Kar) Singh (nee McDonald), Danny (Susie) McDonald, Kevin (Bethany) McDonald; great-grandmother of Charlotte, Ava, and John Wyatt Fister, Makenna and Carson Singh, Kaylee and Julianne Overfield, Danny, Andrew, and Lily McDonald, and Crosby McDonald.  Visitation will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021, 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with services immediately following, Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, Ohio, 45231.  Interment to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
