James L (Jim) Eckhoff

Jim Eckhoff, 81, of White Oak passed away on June 6, 2021, of Lewy Body Dementia.  He was born to the late Larry and Laura (nee Wiethorn) Eckhoff.  Jim was a devoted father of James (Jennifer) Eckhoff, Mark (Elizabeth) Eckhoff and Joan (Steve) Kavanaugh.  He was also a cherished grandfather of Jason, Katelyn, Annalise, Keaton, Noah, the late Ryan, Jack, Sean and Brendan.  He was a loving brother of Rita (Jack) Baxter, Kathi Younger and the late Dick Eckhoff.  Jim graduated from Roger Bacon High School in 1957.  He was a self made, successful business man and founder of Jim Eckhoff Plumbing.  Jim enjoyed golf, fishing and watching the Cincinnati Reds.      

Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 9th from 5 to 7 PM at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, OH 45231.  The private inurnment will be held at St. Mary Cemetery (St. Bernard, OH).  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.  Online condolences can be made at www.paulyoungfuneralhome.com.
