CONRAD (nee Paul)

Marian Aida, age 97, passed away on February 21, 2021. She was born on January 12, 1924 in Port Lavaca, TX to the late John and Viva (nee Guidry) Paul. Marian and her sisters were singers for the USO at Matagorda Island Air Force Base, TX; where she met F. William Conrad who was stationed there in the Army Air Corp.; they married and raised 5 daughters. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1998 after 53 years of marriage.

She is survived by her devoted daughters, Vickie ( the late Dan) Buck, Nancy Ball, Leigh (John)Dovel, Lynn (Thomas) Wallenhorst, and Jaque (Matthew) Heisey; grandchildren, William (Abby) Simpson, Stephanie (Jesse) Brody, Bryan (Sarah) Ball, Nathan (Tina) Ball, Becky (BJ) Ellis, James (Hannah) Dovel, Kelli (Jeffrey) Erdman, Brent Wallenhorst, JB Heisey, and Jenny Heisey; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Sandra) Paul; and sister in law, Gloria Frey; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.

Marian is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 3 siblings.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Paul R. Young Funeral Home entrusted with services.
