Stephen Fields

Stephen Alan Fields, 65, passed away on November 19th, 2022.  Stephen was born on October 29th, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Stephen is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Laura Fields, parents Jo Ann and Don Fields, brother Richard Fields.

Steve loved spending time with his family and friends. You could find him on the sidelines of various sporting events throughout the years supporting his children and grandchildren. He loved rock music and stand up comedy, he enjoyed going to concerts and comedy shows. Steve was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force where he served his country for 6 years. Steve was in the information technology industry and made many friends with colleagues over the years. Steve was loved dearly by all who knew him and will be sorely missed.

Stephen is survived by his brother Andy (Jen) Fields, Sisters Donna (Tim) Hughes, Debbie (Lisa) Fields. His wonderful children, Stacy Fields, Stephen Jay (Tinnille) Fields, Jason (Amanda) Fields and Heather Fields. In addition, survived by his step-children William R. (Sandi) Dees, and Natalie (Aaron) Schuehler, and an astounding 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

The family will welcome friends and family for a visitation on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 10-12 at Paul R Young Funeral Home (Mt Healthy). A funeral service will immediately follow at 12 noon. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the American Lung Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to honor Stephen’s memory.
